We are living in an era where rationality is valued, while at the same time there is little space for fantasy, mysteries and sometimes even doubts. Even though we are usually better off with reasoning, it is not hard to notice the ever-present desire for another aspect of our being. 

That is where the „Die Magische Zehn“ comes into play - an association that has committed itself to nurture and to keep alive the art of magic in Lower Austria. Since 40 years ago its members inspire the people to see the reality from another point of view once in a while. With their art they encourage them to think, providing astonishment and amusement. In other words they bewitch them. For these magical acts the whole membership has deserved our thankfulness and respect. 

I am delighted that the 53rd Magic convention of Austria and respectively the 40 year anniversary of the association, located in Krems at the Danube, will be taking place in the “Kulturbezirk” in St.Pölten. It is the first time for the elite of magicians gathering there. I want to take the opportunity to thank the members of “Die Magische Zehn” for their engagement in the art of magic over decades and their contribution to an even more enchanting home. I wish you a successful and memorable anniversary event!
